Job Details
ABILITY ToWork independently on an active litigation caseload of approximately 30 cases.Propound and respond to written discovery.Draft and respond to pleadings and pre-trial motions, including demurrers, Motions to Quash, Oppositions to Motions for Summary Judgement, Motions to Compel, etc.Take and defend depositions.Second chair trials and arbitrations.Work effectively in a remote work environment.
REQUIRED SkillsClear communication skills, including ability to listen and pro-actively address issues.Ability to prioritize litigation workload and flexibility in managing time.Strong interpersonal skills, including a sense of humor.Excellent written and organizational skills.
PREFFERRED Skills2 to 5 years' litigation experience, preferably experience as plaintiff-side litigation attorneyExperience taking and defending depositions, regular court appearances, arguing motionsJD and California Bar License required.
