Quality Control Inspector

PPS is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector for our full-service metal fabrication and manufacturing facility in Bedford. This is a full-time permanent Direct Hire role with a highly competitive salary, benefits, and high ceiling for growth!
Responsibilities:Conduct thorough inspections of manufactured products to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectationsRead blueprints, schematics, or drawings to ensure products meet customer specsPerform quality testing on products using precision measurement instruments, hand tools, and the likeInspect incoming raw materials, in-process products, and final product for defectsAbility to recognize defects and deviations and recommend repair or discardNotate defects and effectively communicate issues with other departmentsWork closely with other departments to improve the manufacturing processes and meet quality assurance goalsThe Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
Quality Control, Inspection, and Quality Management skillsExcellent communication skills to work with other departmentsAttention to detail and ability to identify defects and discrepanciesExperience in a metal fabrication or similar manufacturing environmentASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent certification is preferredFamiliarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
