The New York Yankees Information Technology department is accepting applications for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for protecting the company's hardware, software, and networks from theft, loss, or unauthorized access. This position will assist in identifying any flaws in existing security systems and proactively develop solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:Monitor all networks and endpoints for security threats and breachesInvestigate incidents and respond to threats in real timePerform periodic risk assessments and penetration testingIdentify and fix vulnerabilitiesAssist in the development and promoting of cybersecurity best practicesInstall, configure, and maintain cyber security platforms and toolsQualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, cyber security, or a related field, or equivalent training and work experience3+ years of experience working in a cyber security or other relevant roleMust have experience with security technologies including endpoint protection, SIEM, IDPs, email security platforms, CASB/DLP, and identity management platformsAbility to write succinct code with optimal performance and simplicityExcellent communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to execute tasks with little guidanceMust have an understanding of typical enterprise networks (wired and wireless), firewalls, and VPN
