Matlab Developer

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Developing powertrain controls requirements based on machine level performance / functional requirements.Developing leverageable control features for various electromechanical system architectures through model-based controls development.Utilize virtual product development for control system functional testing, powertrain optimization, and performance verification.Developing and validating powertrain control features through simulation, lab, and machine development utilizing CAN and ethernet based development tools.Analyzing data, investigating issues for root cause, and documenting powertrain control feature functionality and performanceCollaborating with process partners to deliver high quality product.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Equivalent Engineering with 3 years engineering work experienceExperience developing electromechanical, transmission, hybrid, or powertrain controlsExperience in model-based controls development using Matlab Simulink and Stateflow.Experience with virtual product developmentExperience with control software development tools and processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong technical leadership skills and communicationExperience with lab or machine developmentExperience with CAN development tools: Vector CANape, CANalyzer o
