The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Cisco Network Engineer with strong network design, deployment, network operations, device support and Tier II troubleshooting experience. Must have hands-on experience with the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintaining of Cisco Infrastructures.

Requirements:

Associate, degree Required; BA/BS Computer Science or related degree is highly desirable.CCNP Desired; ITIL a plus.Bi-lingual English/SpanishKnowledge & Experience

Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting of Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP); Quality of Service and VLAN configurations; Layer 3 switching, including ip multicast; troubleshooting experience over wide area networks.In-depth understanding of various network services (Trunking, T1/DS1, MPLS, NAT, DHCP, DNS, NTP, HSRP/VRRP.)Experience with Cisco router and switch configuration (familiarity with the following hardware types: 29/39xx, ISR 4xxx routers and 29xx, 38xx, 45xx, 68xx, 7xxx Catalyst switches, Nexus).Good understanding of Cisco wireless architecture, design, implementation, and administration.Good understanding of Radius and/or TACACS.Experience with networking tools such as Infoblox NetMRI, Solarwinds and Cisco Prime Infrastructure.Experience working with enterprise ticketing systems (Service Now)Advanced skills in overall network administration, network installation, configurations, migrations, and problem resolutionExperience working on a variety of network equipment types in a global environment.Experience working on an in-house and outsourced environment.Responsibilities:

Understand and leverage the ITIL framework for proven processes and procedures within the organization, while balancing the need for change and the need for stability through defined SOPs.Design and deploy company LANs and wireless networks, including appliances, routers, switches, UPSs, andOversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices.Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.Assess LAN/WAN network utilization using monitoring tools. Develop and communicate recommendations for addressing capacity needs.
