role that will run from August to October.Position Overview:Position OverviewGlobal Data Consultants, LLC is currently seeking a Service Desk Specialist to join our team of innovative professionals. This is an entry level position with the flexibility to be a fully remote position within the state of Pennsylvania. This is a short term temporary role.Responsibilities:Take customer calls, and emails and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns.De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support.Guide callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company site, or using products or services.Collaborate with other call-center professionals to improve customer service.Accurately document all service calls within the prescribed call tracking mechanism.Support both technical and non-technical end users.Escalate advanced issues to the appropriate team member.Minimum Qualifications:Strong Customer Service Skills.Exceptional Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Great active listening skills.A patient and empathetic attitude.Strong time management and organizational skillsAdaptability and flexibilityComfortable working in fast-paced environments.Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systemsPreferred Experience:Preferred ExperienceAt least 1+ year of experience supporting desktops/laptops/printers in a production Support Center environmentPrior experience with ability to handle 30-40 service calls a dayStrong Customer Service experience.What We Do:What We Do:Working for GDC means you will be at the forefront of the technological world.
