Boutique Recruiting has partnered with a friendly and fast-growing accounting firm in Encinitas, CA, to find a tech-savvy Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will prepare a variety of complex compliance forms for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals, focusing on efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will have 3-4+ years of experience in a CPA firm, a CPA or EA license, and experience with complicated business tax returns. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in QuickBooks are also essential.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $110,000 / year DOE
Senior Tax Accountant Requirements:
3-4+ years of experience working in a CPA firmCPA or EA licenseExperience with complicated business tax returnsProficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks OnlineStrong communication skills and relationship-building abilityTech-savvy and comfortable in a paperless office environmentCPA license is preferredBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferredProficiency with tax software like Quickbooks and Lacerte is a plusSenior Tax Accountant Responsibilities:
Prepare compliance forms for various entities, ensuring efficiency and qualityCreate tax return workpapers and supporting schedules in line with professional standardsAnalyze financial information such as balance sheets, fixed asset ledgers, and income statementsIdentify and develop solutions for accounting, business, and tax issuesConduct tax research and document conclusionsAssist in training and mentoring junior tax accountantsCommunicate recommendations clearly in both written and verbal formatsHandle special projects as neededEngage in ongoing professional development and pursue additional certifications as appropriateCollaborate closely with partners to develop account management skillsBenefits:
