Safely operate vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership. During delivery, this person may instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures.

Responsibilities

:

Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities primarily using a rollback truckSupports the sales department with equipment delivery as neededMay assist the parts department with part order pickupsMaintains activity records and obtains necessary signatures and receiptsMay offload semi-trucks as neededMaintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and company policyAccountable for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned dutiesMay instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as requiredMay participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeOperates and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment required to perform job responsibilitiesMaintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashionFollows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsMaintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive productsMaintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer serviceOther appropriate responsibilities assigned by managerExperience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge

:

1+ years' experience pulling a gooseneck, tilt, or utility trailer; experience as a semi-truck operator is a plus.High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience requiredExperience in hauling irregular and oversized loads.Ability to communicate effectively.Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe driving practices.Knowledge of proper load securement techniques.Valid driver's license required.Driving record that meets insurance company parameters.Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly.Benefits for full-time team members include:
