Key Responsibilities:

Sector-Specific Tax Expertise: Lead the tax operations for our construction clients, overseeing federal, state, and local tax compliance. Implement strategic tax planning based on in-depth knowledge of construction industry tax laws and business practices.Relationship Building and Management: Foster strong relationships with a broad portfolio of construction industry clients. Understand their individualized needs to deliver tax solutions that facilitate their business success.Business Development and Client Acquisition: Utilize your expertise and professional network to expand our clientele in the construction sector. Position our tax services as a value-add for construction companies of all sizes.Leadership and Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of tax professionals. Set expectations, provide guidance, and ensure that the team delivers high-quality work that aligns with our firm's standards and strategic objectives.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with our audit and advisory teams to provide comprehensive and integrated services to our construction clients. Work in concert with other partners to deliver a seamless suite of services.Knowledge Growth and Adaptation: Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and industry trends in the construction sector. Continually enhance your technical and sector-specific skills to provide the most current and impactful services to our clients.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is highly preferred.A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience in tax advisory services within a public accounting firm, with a significant concentration in the construction sector.Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven track record in team development and client portfolio management.Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations as they pertain to the construction industry.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax information to a diverse audience.Demonstrable strategic thinking and business development skills with a proven ability to drive growth and foster client relationships in a competitive environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying abreast of changes in tax laws and industry trends.These qualifications ensure that the Tax Partner can effectively lead our firm's tax services in the construction sector, delivering value to our clients, our team, and our business.
