Duties include a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: performing assembly, packaging, testing, problem-solving, material handling, and quality control. The ultimate goal of the 1st Shift Production Packer is to safely achieve excellence in all facets of the role; providing the highest quality service safely, while effectively and efficiently increasing profits.

Worthington Enterprises is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team on all shifts. These individuals will be responsible for safely manufacturing quality parts on a fast paced assembly line. Duties include a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: performing assembly, testing, problem solving, material handling, and quality control. The ultimate goal of the Production Associate is to safely achieve excellence in all facets of the role; providing the highest quality service safely, while effectively and efficiently increasing profits .A detailed orientated, self-motivated, problem solver that utilizes a strong work ethic is required.

Responsibilities

Perform all duties in a safe mannerAbility to work in a team environment focusing on meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standardsCapable of working any shift with possibility of rotatingKnow, understand, and follow plant safety rules, policies and proceduresFollow all set-up and operational procedures to ensure accuracy and qualityRun entry-level equipment and ensure all processes are completed per standard operating proceduresPerform duties on the production line including product transfer, parts assembly and quality inspectionsEnsure inventory accuracy and tracking procedures are followedFollow company policies and proceduresAssist others as neededMaintain a clean work areaComplete paperwork as requiredOther duties as assigned by lead or supervisorPerform all duties in the spirit of Our Philosophy and in accordance to legal, ethical and contractual practicesDesired Experience

Possess good problem solving and troubleshooting skills and safety practicesPossess a high level of initiative and personal accountabilityAbility to measure, read, write and document workAbility to sustain a steady work pace over an entire work dayStrong basic math & reading skillsComfortable performing a wide range of responsibilities, from thinking broadly to executing detailed tasksProven ability to effectively work in a detailed, fact based environmentCommitment to personal integrity and integrity of the product(s) and processesCustomer focused with the ability to function with a high sense of urgency
