Zantech is looking for a talented Logistician to support our upcoming work with the Federal Government in Ashburn, VA.

The Logistician will support CBP logistics and asset management, ensuring the ongoing operations are maintained efficiently. The role involves providing comprehensive technical and analytical services during the acquisition process, supporting the development and maintenance of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP), and managing IT assets.

This role is essential for ensuring the efficient management and accountability of assets within the CBP/DHS portfolio, supporting the mission and goals of the organization through meticulous logistics planning and execution for this upcoming opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics Support and Sustainment:

Provide a broad perspective of supportability and sustainment, offering comprehensive technical and analytical services during the acquisition process.Support the development and maintenance of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) for components, customer programs, and projects.Analyze user requirements and mission needs to provide critical data for project site selection and prioritization based on real estate availability and engineering parameters.2. Site Development and Leasing:

Prepare project sites for lease/easement execution, including site development/leasing through facilitation and coordination of site feasibility evaluations and selection.Obtain appropriate government approvals, identify necessary environmental requirements, and prepare lease exhibit drawings, construction drawings, and structural approvals.Assist in establishing a budget for initial and recurring lease costs.3. Asset Management:

Maintain processes to control physical accountability of CBP IT assets kept locally and deployed throughout the U.S.Serve as a local property officer (LPO), barcoding and tracking all accountable and high-risk sensitive property.Assist with inventory activities, including setting up workstations with necessary peripheral devices as required.Implement Systems, Applications, and Products within Data Processing (SAP) LPO Guidelines.4. Inventory and Property Management:

Assist with annual inventory activities.Barcode and track all PSPD accountable and high-risk sensitive property.Assist PSPD in setting up workstations with necessary peripheral devices as required.Serve as a PSPD local property officer (LPO).5. Information Technology Management:Apply Information Technology Management and Refresh DHS Directive 138-03.Maintain processes to control physical accountability of DHS IT assets kept locally and deployed throughout the U.S.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of relevant professional experience in logistics, asset management, or a related field.Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., SAP, ERP systems)Knowledge of government logistics regulations and proceduresDesired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Master's degree in a related fieldMaster's degree in a related fieldCertified Professional Logistician (CPL)Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)Experience with DHS/CBP logistics systems and processesAdvanced certifications in logistics or supply chain managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentRequired Security Clearance:

Must pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), the minimum investigation required.
