Duration : 12 Months Contract

1st Shift[8:00AM to 5:00PM]

Job Description

:

Demonstrates skill in specific testing methods and product usage

Demonstrates specialized knowledge of applicable regulations and standards Applies knowledge and skills to complete a variety of tests

May act as a source of technical expertise for others

May have some informal team leader responsibilities

May assist in training others on SOPs and quality guidelines

Works with a minimal degree of supervision

Complies with regulations and standards

Identifies non-compliance within regulations and standards.

Troubleshoots non-compliance instances

Is multi-skilled within own work area within an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)

Has thorough skills and techniques in multiple skill areas / processes / methods Maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed

Applies knowledge and skills to complete a variety of assignments; may act as a source of technical expertise for others

Works within defined process procedures or methodologies and may help determine methods and procedures on new assignments

May have some informal team leader responsibilities and assist in training others on SOPs and quality guidelines

Works with a minimal degree of supervision

Performs limited and repetitive visual, mechanical, functional, or electrical inspection on various types of machined, molded, fabricated, and electronic parts and assemblies.

Highly proficient in the use of inspection and test tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, surface plates, and other special purpose inspection instruments.

Working Knowledge of industry standards and sampling plans i.e. Mil-Std-105, ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, ASME Y14.5, etc.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and industry workmanship standards. Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Maintains accurate documentation and history records in accordance with departmental procedures and industry regulatory agencies i.e. FDA and ISO.

Ability to write detailed reports.

Qualifications What is typically preferred for experience, education and/or skills for success in your function, level and job

High school diploma/GED required

Bachelor's degree preferred

3-5 years’ experience preferred

Strong communication skills required
