Test Automation Engineer\n6 month contract, with extensions\nRemote\n\nTriumph is seeking a Quality Assurance Test Automation Engineer for our client in Richmond, VA. In this role the candidate will be responsible for developing test plans, test cases, automation test scripts, and test execution. Contributing to and helping maintain the testing framework for various types of testing (functional, load/performance, security). Operating in an agile software delivery methodology focused on testing new features within an iteration and providing near immediate feedback to through test automation.\n\n Responsibilities:\nParticipate in the writing, designing, and executing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.\nMaximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.\nDetermine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.\nExpand upon the existing test automation framework.\nLog and document defects.\n\n Minimum Qualifications: \n

4+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance. \n\t2+ years of experience using test automation technologies. \n\tA bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. \n\tExtensive experience creating, executing, and automating test plans. \n\tBasic understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) \n\tProven experience with Selenium and JMeter. \n\tExperience with scripting and programming languages relevant to Selenium and JMeter (e.g., Java, Python). \n\tExperience in creating strategic test plans aligned with overall project objectives and business goals. \n\tAbility to define and execute comprehensive testing strategies. \n\tFamiliarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in QA. \n\tExperience working in cross-functional teams. \n\tExpertise in managing complex test environments and ensuring their stability and reliability. \n\tProficient in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for testing processes. \n\tAbility to generate comprehensive test reports for management. \n\n\n Preferred Qualifications: \n\n
