**Project Planning/Support Specialist II**

**Compensation: $100,000-$110,000 with a great benefits package.**

This position provides support for the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Mission Support Test Services (MSTS) located in North Las Vegas, NV.

This position provides program management support for routine DAF operations and maintenance, large corrective maintenance and operations upgrades. Activities include direct interface with DAF FM and operations support team to prioritize facility operations/maintenance needs to maintain the safe operations and mission readiness. Program planning for out years and task planning for current Fiscal Year needs.

Regular oversight of day to day activities. Management of program budget and schedule status, and regular reporting program accomplishments.Nuclear operations experience (has worked on complex, technical projects within the nuclear environment; understands the inherent hazards associated with engineering and construction work scopes in the nuclear environment)Project management experience (competent in use of project management terminology, experienced with project cost and schedule performance oversight)Excellent technical writing skills (able to draft comprehensive monthly performance reports, develop scopes of work, project charters, etc.)Assertive in engagement with project management and facility engineersExcellent communication skills; able to give clear, concise monthly presentations to senior management on special projects under their oversightThis position provides program management support for routine DAF operations and maintenance, large corrective maintenance and operations upgrades. Requirements *

EducationBachelors degree with 8 or more years of experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.LocationOutside of NV or local to NV (Travel to the site would be required and reimbursable up to a week a month).**Education**
