Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced SDET / Full Stack Test Automation Engineer to join our team in developing a cutting-edge enterprise Gen AI platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and driving the end-to-end quality strategy, ensuring the reliability and performance of our React-based frontend applications, NestJS-based facade/proxy services, and Python-based microservices.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement a comprehensive quality strategy for our enterprise Gen AI platformRetroactively instrument unit and integration tests into React-based frontend applications and NestJS-based facade/proxy servicesRetrofit unit and integration tests into Python-based microservicesDevelop strategies for efficiently parallelizing test runs and reporting outputs from monoreposStrike the right balance between automated tests and manual regression strategiesAugment SRE function with Datadog or similar synthetic tests and other functional monitoringCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall quality and reliability of the platformRequired Qualifications:At least 5+ years of relevant, full-time, experienceExtensive experience in testing React-based frontend applications, NestJS-based facade/proxy services, and Python-based microservicesHands-on experience developing strategies for efficiently parallelizing test runs and reporting outputs from monoreposDemonstrated ability to strike the right balance between automated tests and manual regression strategiesExperience with augmenting SRE function using Datadog or similar synthetic tests and other functional monitoring toolsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesProficiency in Python, JavaScript, and experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, and PytestExperience with API testing, database testing, and web testingKnowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other relevant databasesDesirable Skills:Experience with Gen AI or machine learning platformsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesExperience with performance testing, security testing, and scalability testingUnderstanding of B2B SaaS metrics and enterprise software development lifecyclesWhat we offer: Competitive startup salary and equity packages.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Flexible working hours and hybrid work options.An opportunity to be at the forefront of AI in healthcare, making substantial impacts on patient care and outcomes.A vibrant and inclusive work environment that fosters creativity and innovation.Pay & Benefits: The pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $180,000, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
