is looking for a board certified or board eligible allergist-immunologist to join our team in coastal Charleston, SC, on a clinician-educator track. The chosen physician will join MUSCs Division of Pulmonology, Allergy, and Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics where our faculty enjoy rewarding and diverse careers, which include clinical care, research, and involvement in our mission to educate future physician-leaders.Ideal candidates will be:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy and ImmunologyCommitted to MUSCs educational and research missions, and to teaching our pediatric fellows, residents, and medical studentsAbout our opportunity:Provide primarily outpatient care for children and adults, while also providing pediatric allergy and immunology inpatient consultation servicesJoin a collaborative and intellectually stimulating and growing team of 3 allergy and immunology faculty members (all are pediatric trained)Work at a Jeffrey Modell Foundation designated Diagnostic and Research Center for Primary ImmunodeficienciesEnjoy great collaborative relationships with subspecialists, including those in pulmonology, cardiology, rheumatology, dermatology, ENT, gastroenterology, and nutritionEPIC medical record platformPursuing individual scholarly interests is encouraged and supportedWe will provide:Relocation assistanceCompetitive pay and signing bonusExcellent retirement options, including a pension and optional tax-deferred contributionsSovereign Immunity malpractice coverage22 days of annual leave, 15 days of sick leave, and 13 paid holidaysPublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibilityIn 2020, MUSC Childrens Health opened the Shawn Jenkins Childrens Hospital, a 100,000 square foot, 250-bed, state-of-the-art hospital that has transformed care for women and children in the region.
