Business Analyst

This individual will drive proactive identification of data outliers and their cause, along with supporting reactive requests for discovery of data drivers. This position will partner across internal operational teams to identify business insights to drive identification, optimization and change. Additionally, this position will aid in strategic discovery and support of initiatives that result in operational improvements.What you'll doPackage, summarize, visualize and perform storytelling on analytical findings and results for management and business usersUse analytical insights to develop solutions, improved processes and work with counterparts in the business to implement proposed solutionsDevelop strategies and best practices in the areas of data wrangling, data visualization and data integration.Solve complex internal or customer analytical problems across various business domains and areas of expertiseReview metrics for anomalies and perform analysis to determine cause to aid business partners in implementing corrective measures.Design new methodologies and execute investigative data analyses of moderate complexity in response to business request.Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly communicate results of insights generated from analysisAbility to talk to impact and strategic importance of findings on the business (either Equifax or external customer) and recommend appropriate course of action; ability to advocate to implementation of solutions and improved processes as well as share the qualitative and quantitative elements to drive value and share the "so what' out of the analysis being performed.What experience you need BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline5-7 years of experience in a related analyst roleCloud certification strongly preferredTechnical capabilities including SQL, Big Query, R, Python, MS Excel / Google Sheets, Tableau, LookerExperience working as a team and collaborating with others on producing descriptive and diagnostic analysis.
