Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced team lead to join our team. The successful candidate will not only play a pivotal role in driving our projects forward but will also take charge of guiding and mentoring a team of professionals, ensuring their growth and alignment with our strategic goals. This individual will be responsible for leading by example, setting the standard for technical excellence, strategic thinking, and effective leadership. The position demands a high level of collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to inspire and motivate the team to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Essential Responsibilities

(Other duties may be assigned)Platform and Product Expertise:

Stay updated with new platform enhancements and functionalities, ensuring the team is adequately trained to leverage these updates. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Sapio Sciences' products and services.Solution Design and Deployment:

Collaborate with the Sapio Sciences team, including the Business Analyst, to understand customer requirements and processes. Design and deploy solutions using an agile approach, ensuring deliverables are met within time, budget, and quality parameters. Advise customers on best practices to optimize deployment success.Customer Support and Engagement:

Provide third-tier support post-implementation, act as a liaison between the product team and customers to ensure functionality meets customer needs, and drive the Sapio Sciences agile deployment methodology. Document customer feedback and address issues to enhance the customer experience and project success.Project and Process Management:

Support Project Managers in delivering customer projects, ensure all team members adhere to agreed processes and best practices, and oversee proper time tracking and management. Maintain meticulous documentation of all Solution Architect-related deployment services.Team Leadership and Development:

Line manage a designated team of Solution Architects and Application Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Lead weekly team meetings, conduct performance reviews, provide professional development feedback, and report on key team performance metrics. Act as a point of escalation.Collaboration and Process Improvement:

Work closely with the wider Customer Success team to establish scalable processes and methods that enhance project delivery and customer satisfaction.Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 30% of the time and to be present in the York, Pennsylvania office once a month.

Education/Experience

Minimum5 years of experience in designing and delivering solutions for LIMS, ELN, or other complex software in a customer-facing role.Minimum5 years of experience in team leadership and/or line management.Proficient in managing tickets using JIRA or a similar system.Required Skills & Abilities
