Growing tech consulting firm based in Chicago is seeking a Senior .NET Developer (either backend or Fullstack). In this role, you'll collaborate with an experienced team and make an immediate impact. In this role, you'll work on critical back-end services that integrate with multiple systems. This is a fully remote, long term contract position with potential to convert to full-time if desired. In this role, you will collaborate with a highly skilled team of architects, lead developers, SREs, and QAs. The project is already underway and offers the chance to expand your experience across various technologies in a microservices architecture. You'll be directly interfacing with clients, ensuring a high level of engagement and impact on project outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services using .NET Core and C# within a microservices architecture.Implement and optimize Azure services, with a focus on Azure Functions, to build scalable cloud solutions.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, lead developers, and QAs, to ensure seamless integration and delivery.Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance, ensuring project alignment and success.Participate in Scrum ceremonies and additional meetings to synchronize project objectives and timelines.Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Azure, particularly with Azure Functions.Expertise in back-end or full-stack development, with a solid command of .NET Core and C#.Experience in building and maintaining cloud-based solutions within a microservices architecture.5-7 years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on cloud environments and enterprise-level applications.Nice-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of Azure Functions with Private Endpoints, Azure Blob Storage, and Cosmos DB.Familiarity with Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, SQL Server, Azure API Manager, Azure Front Door, and Azure App Services.
