Senior Desktop Support

The Desktop Support, senior analyst assists in all aspects of desktop computer support, with a focus on trouble shooting and resolving issues both locally and remotely. Additional tasks include performing PC builds, installing applications, deploying VoIP phones, and general administrative tasks within Active Directory and various PC application management consoles.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PC/User Administration

Assist with administering corporate infrastructure including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and various computer management applications.Assist with creation of new hire AD accounts, email and application accounts, and telephone extensions.Perform PC builds and application installations in accordance with our accountability checklists and handoff to end users.Work closely with internal resources on PC related projects.

Operational Support

Provide support of PC equipment including software, printers, scanners, CD burners, etc.Provide support of Audio-Visual equipment and facilitate start of onsite or virtual conferencing meetings (or both simultaneously).Troubleshoot issues to determine root cause and identify solutions or escalate appropriately.Document processes and procedures.

Asset Management

Assists with the inventory management of software, hardware, and other IT supplies.Assists with the purchase of software, hardware, and other IT supplies.Promotes responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS|EXPERIENCE:1-3 years in a desktop support role.Excels in customer service and is detail oriented with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Exchange email administration.Working understanding of networking and network devices.Ability to learn and support custom web applications.Knowledge of scanning hardware and software preferred.Knowledge of hospital medical records systems preferred.Ability to thrive on a small team in a fast-paced environment.Associates' degree and/or equivalent work experience along with a high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.Certifications a plus (A+, MCP, etc.)Ability to travel 5%.
