QualificationsPursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business
required
A degree in one of the following majors
preferred :
BusinessSupply ChainOperations Management
Entering 3rd or 4th year
highly preferred
Ability to work year-round
highly preferredPrior interaction with Altec team at a recruitment event
highly preferred
Potential ResponsibilitiesMaintain supplier performance scorecards which evaluate suppliers in regards to quality, delivery and costMaintain supplier certification documents and assist in evaluating potential suppliersMaintain supplier records for our governmental programs that relate to small business and diversity spendInvolvement with engineering and production associates with cost savings activitiesParticipate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and take part in Kaizen activitiesAssist with Accounts payable projectsMaintain accurate material pricingProcure components for the assembly lines and expedite parts accordinglyManage inventory levels and complete projects to insure components are on handInitiate cost savings opportunities with suppliersAny other special projects as neededAltec Industries, Inc. and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers and maintain affirmative action plans to recruit, retain, develop, and promote qualified individuals without unlawful consideration of race, gender, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, citizenship status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
