** Zachry Construction Corporation**** Utility Laborer - Barricades/Traffic**Fort Worth, TX 76177**Job Summary** Utility Laborers will perform tasks involving physical labor on heavy highway, road and bridge construction projects. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Flagging traffic passing near, in, or around work zones; use hand tools to install erosion control devises such as silt fence, rock filter dams and cleaning drainage structures; general cleanup ie.. sorting roots out of dirt piles; small repairs to job signage and traffic control devises; control set-up and may assist other craft workers in performing other semi-skilled labor related duties as instructed by supervisor. * Perform tasks involving physical labor on project* Flagging traffic passing near, in, or around work zones* Communicate Bilingual (Spanish)* May operate hand and power tools* Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards* May assist other craft workers* Perform other labor related duties as instructed by supervisor* Adhere to all safety guidelines set forth in the companys safety program* Able to work some nights and weekendsThis job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
