Sales Manager (Automotive)
Reporting to Sales Director Americas, the
Sales Manager
is an individual contributor responsible for growing the business by managing all technical sales activities, navigating standard account issues, and providing technical market data for assigned and new automotive accounts. The specialty of the position is to improve market share in high voltage systems and components, while traditional ICE architecture will have significant focus early in the role. Responsibility is within North America, with global coordination as required based on customer structure.

Generate new business utilizing support from broader Littelfuse teams including engineering, quality, and logistics. Support as awarded projects transition to Product Development Team.Create and meet sales budget for assigned accounts and provide weekly/ monthly/quarterly analysis to track budget and progress reports as requiredDemonstrate nimbleness maintaining positive links between Littelfuse and customers' purchasing, supplier quality, engineering, and customer plant locationsMaintain market share of existing accounts and grow share of both existing and new accountsAcquire market knowledge on customer needs, competitor activities, and report back to the organizationCollaborate with inside sales to manage pricing and purchase agreements / disputes for assigned accountsAftermarket is not a focus of this position.About you:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or proven equivalentMinimum of 5 years experience working in the automotive industry with an unquestioned "culture of automotive" approach.Minimum of 3 years experience in direct automotive technical sales experienceDemonstrated experience in xEV / High Voltage electrical applications at tier 1 levelStrong written and oral communication skills, including presenting business cases using Microsoft ExcelAbility to travel overnight occasionally (~10%)Ability to work independently
