Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Pima Heart and Vascular has an amazing opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Cardiology Nurse Practitioner; to work with a Non-Invasive Cardiologist. This is a chance to work with the largest private cardiology practice in AZ. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the Cardiologist as well as independently.Candidates must have:Two years of experience working as experienced out-patient/inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner is preferred.Although this position is both outpatient and inpatient; the

majority of the time will be INPATIENT , so we are looking for candidates with strong inpatient experience.Master’s degree in nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Active AZ license or willing to apply.Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)Skills:General health care and cardiovascular patient assessment and exam skillsCardiology experience is preferred but not mandatory.Ability to function independentlyCan demonstrate knowledge and competence in basic cardiovascular technology, i.e. EKG, patient assessment and management of care, etc.Experience:Cardiology NP Outpatient: 1 year (Preferred)Inpatient: 1 year (Preferred)Cardiovascular patient assessment: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:DEA CertificationACLS CertificationBLS CertificationAZ license or willing to applyJob Type : Full TimeMonday – Friday with some weekend call (9-10 weekends per year)Serving the community for 40 years, PIMA Heart and Vascular is the largest independent cardiovascular practice in Arizona and one of the largest independent practices in the country, known for comprehensive cardiovascular services, high-quality outcomes, and strong operational capabilities.
