Estimator Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in civil construction estimating; less experience may be considered for candidates with a strong educational backgroundProficiency in Excel (formulas), Adobe, or Bluebeam softwareStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing situationsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenSelf-motivated with a strong sense of ownership over tasks and projectsBachelor s degree in civil engineering or related field is preferredFamiliarity with sitework and civil construction projects is preferredExperience in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment is preferredEstimator Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for various civil construction projectsConduct quantity takeoffs and develop comprehensive project proposalsContact vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and productsCollaborate closely with the project management and construction teams to ensure alignment on project goalsOccasionally visit job sites to take photos or gather additional information as neededUtilize Excel (including formulas), Adobe, or Bluebeam for estimating and takeoff tasksBenefits:
