Save your neighbors. Be an amazing person while managing current mobile blood drives and developing new relationships for new donor opportunities. Book and support mobile blood drives and donor center-based blood drives while meeting or exceeding draw goals.

Responsibilities:Develop and manage relationships with a portfolio of current mobile blood drive partners and build relationships with prospective partners as identified from inquiries, research, outreach, team goals, and networking events.Evaluate and ensure success of current and new blood drive partners, including scouting of drive locations, finalization of drive logistics, scheduling within organizational calendar, and delivery of support for inspiring blood donations.As a team, help manage new account evaluation, proposal development, presentations, and recruitment of new groups.Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed blood drive collection goals for We Are Blood by facilitating mobile blood drives with community partners and holding donor center based blood drives.Maintain records of all blood drive promotion efforts, communications, and contacts.Develop and maintain effective and successful blood drive coordinator relationships and develop prospective blood drive coordinators.Ensure community partners and donors are properly stewarded and thanked.Prepare reports on blood drive activities and outcomes.Work closely with other account managers and the donor services team (responsible for collecting all blood products) to maximize efficiency and resources.Demonstrate an understanding of applicable We Are Blood strategies and goals and how they address the community needs.Collaborate with internal teams, key stakeholders, and community partners to develop promotional materials for blood drives to ensure brand consistency.As a representative of We Are Blood in the community, uphold high levels of professional conduct and behavior and maintain the company’s good reputation accordingly.Meet and exceed employee program expectations of AMO CommYOUnity! standards: Rewards & Recognition, Communication, Individuality, Integrity, Respect, and Pursuit of Excellence.Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.Monday through Friday 8-5 with some evenings and weekends for events.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of experience in corporate relations,, communications, sales, or community outreach.

Will substitute 5 or more years of relatable experience in lieu of a degree.Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and business contacts.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.Ability to develop and deliver informative and/or persuasive presentations.Must be able to work independently with little supervision.Strong public speaking skills.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills.Ability to foster and maintain an office environment where teamwork and professional respect are the foundation for achievement.Computer skills that include the competent use of Microsoft Office SuiteMust be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Texas driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and an acceptable driving record. Must be able to provide reliable personal transportation.Mental and Physical Abilities
