Safety/Security Sensitive Designation:This is a safety/security sensitive position for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Note: All City of Fayetteville positions require employees to provide good customer service to both internal and external customers, maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees (especially members of their own team), and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive. Other essential duties of this position include the following:

Prepare purchasing card (P-card) requests and communicate with employees and vendors. Prepare monthly reconciliation of P-cards for all Fleet staff.Keep track of parts ordered and charged to P-cards, including funds approved for charges, work order notes and other tracking procedures.Pick up parts and supplies from vendors.Send out bi-annual sheets to track mileage and usage of all fleet vehicles. Record data gathered in the Fleet Information Management System (FIMS).Answer incoming phone calls, direct them appropriately or take messages as needed.Track core charges to make sure they are recouped.Assist with re-stocking inventory and receiving deliveries as needed.Run monthly Motor Pool reports for supervisor.Import data from FMIS billing tab into four Motorpool charge spreadsheets.Receive and charge out parts in FMIS based on invoices for non-inventory items.Monitor rental pool vehicles, check out and return. Enter reservations in rental pool planner. Prepare rental vehicles as needed (fuel up, clean, etc.).Perform mail run to City Hall and mail facilities as needed.Transport vehicles to and from car dealers or contract vendors when needed.Complete the process to obtain license tags from the state revenue office.Update and maintain Taxi Inspection spreadsheet.Assist with periodic parts inventory counts.Order seasonal clothing and track all uniform orders or changes.Track tool purchases and maintain annual spreadsheets.Assist with GovDeals listings, including taking and uploading photos, updating documents to communicate sale readiness, responding to inquiries, processing the bill of sale, and distributing sales documentations.Perform other duties as assigned.Secondary Job Duties

Secondary duties as assigned.High school diploma or GED and two years of related experience.Must possess valid Driver's License.Effectively communicate with others orally and in writingAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions and percentages.Must be proficient in the use of a computer and software programs such as word processing and spreadsheet applications. Must have the ability to become proficient in other software programs such as Fleet Management Information System Software.Must be able to effectively operate standard office equipment.Must have reasonable knowledge of parts and components used in repairs of vehicles and equipment.While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee regularly is required to stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 poundsWhile performing the functions of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud.
