Trinity Health IHA Medical Group has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Board-Certified Physician Assistant (PA) to join nine providers in our Urology practice in Southeast Michigan.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urology, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with urologists and the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive urological care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for the right PA Urology candidate to become part of a successful and growing practice.Key Responsibilities:Patient Care:Work under the direction of a board-certified UrologistConduct patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.Diagnose and manage urological conditions.Develop and implement treatment plans that include prescription medications and therapiesEducate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative careMaintain accurate patient record in the EMR system through documentation of patient visits, treatments, and outcomesCoordinate referrals to specialists as neededProcedural Assistance:Assist in urological procedures and surgeries.Perform minor urological procedures under supervision.Manage pre-operative and post-operative care.Qualifications:Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS)Active State of Michigan licenseCurrent certification as a Physician AssistantBLS and ACLS certificationExperience in urology or related surgical practice preferredSkills & Competencies:Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Effective teamwork.Compassionate, patient-centered care approach.Proficient in EMR systems, EPIC experience preferred.
