As a Sr Systems Integration Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to integrate, debug, verify, and test systems to support cutting edge Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance (ISR) sensors in an integrated, multi-sensor, environment. SNC's Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area is at the forefront of Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) sensor development with more products in the field than any other company. Youll be responsible for verifying that the integration of sensors and software meets demanding customer requirements. As a cross functional engineer, you'll perform system and component-level test of hardware, software, networked sensors in a lab environment using automated and manual tests which you create in order to verify the integrated sensors are mission capable.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains air, land, sea, space and cyber. Learn more about MSTResponsibilities:Work in an agile, fast-paced, collaborative, and open environment with a focus on interoperable systemsLead Integration, Verification, & Validation of Requirements for sensors within a sensor integration labWrite procedures for testing requirements and capabilitiesSupport customer demonstrations on a periodic basisInteract with other multi-disciplinary technical team members and project management teamsMust-haves:Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experienceHigher education may substitute for relevant experienceComprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices.progressive experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teamsExperience with integration and deployment of networked sensors and the software that enables that integrationExperience with testing / debugging software, including graphical user interfaces, and documenting results in bug tracking softwareFamiliar with and capable of debugging computer networks, TCP/IP & UDP protocolsFamiliar with LINUX computer operating systems, system commands, bash scripting, and cybersecurityUnderstands requirements management, systems design, systems integration, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principlesExperience creating technical documentation, test plans & procedures, and test reports and ability to execute test procedures and document resultsWrite test scripts to automate sensor and sensor integration tasks (python software skills)Experience with general purpose RF test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum/network analyzers, and oscilloscopesThe ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required?Preferred:Background in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryKnowledge of digital signal processing techniques as applicable to signals intelligenceA subject matter expert on Electronics Intelligence (ELINT) and Electronic Support Measure (ESM) systems and the missions they supportAbility to contribute to technical designsSNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
