JOB SUMMARY:
Collaborates with Product/Platform Owner, Business Partners and Product Team and Cross Functional Teams to deliver timely and with quality as per the specific need of stories. Supports user stories focused on configuring package software or performing other highly technical tasks for the agile team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for collaborating with the team to understand and propose solutions to configure package software or custom software developmentProvides highly specialized technical skills to according to the specific needs of stories during each iterationEnsures design and development standards are being followed to minimize rework; promotes only quality-tested code and does it on a frequent basisActs as a key stakeholder or backup for Product Owner in the daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives to update progress, highlight and resolve impedimentsReviews required documentation to communicate information to deployment, maintenance, service and business teamsActively suggests solutions to drive down technical debtProvides mentorship to junior FAs and BAs through Community of Practice and other informal forums and may supervise FAs in a team that does not have senior developers or a tech leadLead functional analysis for the domain/software related to Mergers & Acquisitions & FoldoutsLead functional analysis for domain/software RFP processLead SME around product(s) function and works with Product Owner and Business Partners to refine requirements/functionalityLead training of software package to key stakeholders as requiredEducation:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent for the specific roles responsibilitiesMandatory Experience:
5-8 years of experience in configuration of software packages or and application development is a nice to have, not required for a Sr Functional AnalystStrong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban & other agile frameworksThis does not need to be a requirement for a Sr Functional AnalystStrong knowledge of continuous integration / continuous delivery practicesSkills and Competencies:Demonstrated "agile-development" mindset with strong customer-focus & results-orientationAbility to excel in a fast paced agile environment, adapt to shifting urgencies, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills to effectively manage key business stakeholder relationships, and where required - customer and supplier partnerships/relationshipsHighly proficient in teamwork and collaboration skills
