This role involves negotiating and executing provider contracts, conducting high-level reviews and analyses, and resolving disputes with complex regional or national providers. The Manager collaborates closely with operations to align provider networks with company standards, addressing contract and claims issues while optimizing the network for accessibility, quality, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities :Possesses in-depth knowledge of the managed care industry, including competitor strategies, practices, and financial/contracting arrangements, with the ability to identify and capitalize on marketing opportunities to support program delivery.

Demonstrates excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and presentation skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Maintains exceptional customer service skills, working collaboratively with multiple business areas to achieve goals.

Exhibits attention to detail and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze, identify, and report on significant changes to network adequacy and apply sound judgment in diverse scenarios.

Capable of working effectively under stress, accurately following standardized procedures while adapting as needed to practical and emergency situations.

Qualifications & Requirements :EducationBachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience.ExperienceMinimum 4+ years related experience and expert level negotiation skills with successful track record negotiating contracts with large or complex national providers.Experience with provider contracts, contracting options, contract terms, reimbursement structure (Medicare/Medicaid) as well as provider configurations.Position requires strong skills in MS WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and OutlookSalesforce experience.Licenses/CertificationsNone required.
