Sr. Network Engineer
t o join our team! In this upcoming role you will serve as a network technical expert managing and leading efforts concerning planning, development, implementation, problem resolution, and administration of the Muscatatuck Cyber Range network. This is a full-time position with work that becomes available in the Sept-Oct 2024 timeframe upon award.
In this role you will:Make recommendations on proposed Network Systems Engineering based on knowledge of existing capabilities and analysis of alternatives.Define future focus by participating in the development of the various roadmaps and technology strategies to solve complex problems.Exercise continuing responsibility for assignments pertaining to the strategic goals, policy and planning requirements for the division.Qualifications
Clearance:
Active or current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.10+ years of experience configuration and operation of cyber range or computer test bed environments.IAT II certification - CCNA-Security or CySA+ or GICSP or GSEC or Security+ CE or CND or SSCPExpert knowledge in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs utilizing bare metal and virtualized systems.Demonstrated experience providing enterprise network engineering and support for a campus area network type facility to include creating and planning policies and procedures.Experience working with wireless infrastructure supporting 802.11x, 4G,and 3G wireless technologies to support the MUTC Wireless Network.Experience configuring and managing Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR) node
