Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

Shodair is looking to hire a psychiatric nurse practitioner! This position works collaboratively with psychiatrists to provide psychiatric assessment and psychotropic medication management for children and young adults. Psychiatric APRN will provide both new evaluations and follow-up care to allow for comprehensive, coordinated care. Responsible for recommending comprehensive treatment interventions including nonpharmacologic treatments as well as psychotropic medications.
The ideal candidate is someone who:Has experience in psychiatric care- preferably with children and adolescents.Has the ability to perform psychosocial assessment, social and developmental histories, as well as treatment and discharge plans.Has the ability to formulate, document, and keep current the multidisciplinary treatment plan.Has regular, predictable, and reliable attendance at work.Is passionate about helping the children of Montana!

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner (DNP) from an accredited program, valid Advanced Practice RN/Nurse Practitioner license from the State of Montana and current prescriptive authority. Two years of pediatric psychiatric experience, preferred. Valid Montana Driver's License.
