They work on a variety of commercial, light-industrial, mixed-use, and retail projects out of their Chicago office.Job DescriptionPromote growth and development of client relationshipsAttend client meetings throughout the preconstruction processMonitor and review potential opportunitiesPrepare preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates as well as detailed estimatesReview documentsPrepare bid packages, obtain bids from subcontractors and vendorsTake part in preconstrucion meetings and presentations with ownersResearch market trends and compile historical data for future usePrepare discipline estimates by calculating takeoffsParticipate and lead preconstruction teamAssist in preparation of preliminary constructionVisit on-going projects to verify status of estimatesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
