Job Summary
Provide Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Services to the patients of Charleston Area Medical Center, Inc. and its affiliates per the terms of the employment agreement.
Responsibilities
To provide care of CAMC patients in the field of Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care in compliance with the highest standards of medical art and science as per delineation of privileges at CAMC. Care will be delivered in the appropriate setting and coordinated with the staff present at each site. The physician will take the lead in all patient care issues and will be ultimately responsible for the outcome of the encounter.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages.
Education
Medical degree in Education: Medical Degree MD or DO
Credentials
Board Certified/Board Eligible American Board of Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine
