ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt

Right of Way Agent

to work on projects in New Hampshire. The selected candidate will have the flexibility to work out of their home office in New Hampshire and will be expected to travel about 50% of the time throughout the state.ORC offers an amazing work environment surrounded by a vibrant team that is not only there to challenge and support you, but also will inspire you every day! What you will be doing:As a Right of Way Agent, you will be taking lead on acquiring easements for large electric transmission, distribution and/or pipeline projectsin support of the Project Manager (PM), or members of the project team. This includes conducting advanced right of way negotiations with high-risk landowners. You will be responsible for preparing settling damages, real estate documents, performing property research, ensuring compliance with company standards, and providing construction support.We are looking for someone who:Can manage deadlines and prioritize effectivelyHas a responsible and organized approach to workIs approachable and good at interacting with people from all walks of lifeIs a problem solver with attention to detail and strong negotiation skillsCan communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writingCan work independently and as part of a team

Here are the minimum requirements:Minimum of five (5) years of Right of Way acquisition experienceActive New HampshireNotary or ability to obtain within 60days of hireMust be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and OutlookMust have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systemsValid Driver's License

Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. The employee is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This role requires the employee to occasionally travel to meet with clients or vendors which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations. While meeting with clients and vendors, will need to be outdoors traversing different types of landscapes.
