Job Title: Family Services Assistant
Job location: 3432 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452
Schedule: (FT) 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $15.48 hourly
Job Duties:Engage clients in the community in a variety of settings to include family homes, schools, and hospitals.Document client contacts and interaction in a variety of digital case management applications.Consult with supervisory team members, and city attorneys regarding the safety, wellbeing, and permanency of children.Assess child safety and risk utilizing a variety of structured decision-making tools, interviews, and observations.Family time/visitation supervision, observation, coaching, and support.Well child direct face-to-face contact.Home safety/environment checks.Transportation to and from medical appointments, court appearances, scheduled appointments, visits, etc. for child welfare clients.School transportSupervision of minor children during case planning meetings, court appearances, therapy appointmentsShopping for foster children in non-foster home settingsCompleting food basket deliveriesAdditional Requirements:
