The IT Applications Manager will lead a team of Business Analysts to deliver IT related change and improvements to support Saluda's growth. This is a hands-on role with additional team leadership and management responsibilities. In this capacity, you will be working closely with the IT team and business teams todeliver excellent results.
The role offers the opportunity to grow with a rapidly evolving company and would suit an experienced business analyst looking to further their career into a management role.
Accountabilities and Associated Responsibilities:
Lead efforts to ensure that information systems support the organizational mission and objectives and coordinate the process of defining, analyzing and solving problems related to business systems and special projects.Manage, from the business stakeholders' perspective, the requirements for related systems projects; ensure a high level of business stakeholders' satisfaction by monitoring the delivery of ongoing information systems to the organization.Lead and coordinate studies to assist business owners in evaluating the potential solutions for automating existing or proposed work functions or processes and assess the feasibility of creating or enhancing systems to meet user requirements.Analyze new business requirements, customer pain points and gaps, system functionality, current system use and future needs; perform gap analysis between current state and future state; specify functional designs and work with developers and stakeholders to implement.Develop system design for new or enhanced business systems; document and analyze input/output requirements, procedural flow among departments and organizations resulting in end to end processes.Independently researches and sustains domain expertise on current trends, strategies, and technologies to help move Saluda's sales and marketing technology forwardProduce high quality documentation of processes and systemsPerform system configuration, testing and provide supportUndertake project management activities related to implementing IT solutionsOther duties as assignedQualification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplineAt least 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst with some responsibility as a team leader or managerVery good written and verbal communication skillsCommitment to work in a teamExperience in a process improvement methodologies, for example Lean or Six SigmaBusiness knowledge in order to cash or finance business process domainsExperience with Software Validation in regulated industries, ideally Medical Device or PharmaceuticalDesirable to have experience in Salesforce and QAD applicationsDesirable to have certification in a process improvement methodology
