As a member of the AppDev team, this Business Solutions Analyst will collaborate with the devops, product development, security, and software asset management teams as well as with infrastructure, solution, and cloud providers throughout the enterprise to understand and support their strategic priorities. The candidate is required to have strong enterprise system and multi-cloud network experience, can analyze sophisticated business problems and procedures, and deliver solutions that meet business requirements. You will work primarily with ServiceNow ITOM and must have strong service management domain expertise. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively, think creatively, think end-to-end, embrace change, and be effective when faced with ambiguous requirements with little or no oversight.
What you'll do
Assist internal business partners in defining key capabilities/ requirements that will enable their strategyProvide guidance to the business partners on existing system capabilities and where development work is requiredCreate complex conceptual designs (including application interfaces and interactions)Document design decisions, configuration and development rationaleIdentify and monitor interdependencies between integrated application components and systemsProvide effective support for operational problem resolutionParticipate in and/or lead various process improvement projects to increase operational efficiencyBe recognized as an authority on one or more applications/productsWork within the framework of the project management standardsCollaborate with impactful teams across multiple geographiesSkills:
Thorough understanding of ServiceNow including deep and extensive knowledge of ITOM implementations and processesDeep understanding of enterprise network environments that span the globe and include both public and private clouds, as well as compute platforms such as Kubernetes and VMwareGood interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate othersSelf-motivated and not afraid to work through unknownsBalance of business and technology competence, including ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to business problemsStrong problem solving and analytical skills, able to produce clear observations, analysis and conclusions based on customer interviews and dataTeam player who can collaborate with multiple internal partners to arrive at the best solutionEducation:
