Skillforce is looking for Drywall Finisher/Tapers for a jobsite in Annapolis Junction, MD
Drywall Finisher/Taper Duties and Responsibilities:Measuring, cutting, and fitting: Drywall sheets are measured, cut, and fitted for installation on ceilings and walls.Positioning and securing: Drywall sheets are positioned and secured to wooden or metal studs.Filling: Joints, holes, and cracks are filled with compound using a trowel and broad knife.Smoothing: Excess compound is smoothed out and dry compound is sanded.Taping: Paper or fiberglass mesh tape is applied to cover drywall seams. The tape is then smoothed and finished with a compound.Repairing: Damaged drywall is fixed, and ceiling tiles are replaced.Drywall Finisher/Taper Qualifications
Previous experience with drywall finishing and tapingThis project requires badging. Must have Real ID and Birth Certificate or PassportJob Type: Contract, Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
Salary: Up to $29.00-$33.00/hour DOE
