The IT Business Analyst will play a crucial role in consulting with key business users and outside vendors to implement and maintain the IT systems that support back office and corporate functions including Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Safety, and Compliance. This role is an expansion of the current IT Business Analyst - Coporate Systems team to include web analytics, improving overall website functionality, and content management and team collaboration tools. Location and Schedule: This position is assigned to the NESL Corporate office located in New Enterprise, PA. The Analyst is a collaborative, customer facing contributor who will spend 3-4 days per week in the office with other team members. Travel to plants, work sites, and area offices to learn and understand business objectives and processes, or provide training and system go-live support will be required from time to time. Travel may involve overnight stays - including multiple days. IT Business Analyst - Corporate/Communications - What Will You Do? Business Analysis Develop and demonstrate an understanding of customer and business needs. Provide functional and technical support for team's area(s) of responsibility. Escalate system & application issues to outside vendors as needed and ensure their timely resolution. Develop plans to implement and/or support new product/service releases and ensure they are managed according to the NESL Policy. Web Analytics Leverage data and analytics to identify trends and insights to optimize user experience, identify sales/marketing opportunities, and continually enhance our online presence. Develop and present key metrics along with recommendations for business users. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in web analytics and content management. Collaboration Adoption & Support Analyze Microsoft 365 licensing to present utilization & develop recommendations. Develop & implement best practices to ensure proper utilization of the tools that are available to the Organization. Take ownership of content management system (SharePoint) and other tools utilized for team communication/sharing (Teams). Perform analysis of the existing tools & develop recommendations where needed. Drive adoption of the M365 tools and services to improve collaboration among and across business teams. Other Represent the needs/priorities of the business organization in any IT meeting. Utilize strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Work as part of a cross functional team including Project Managers, Business Users, other IT Staff, and Third Party Vendors to deliver technology projects. Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Perform other related duties as assigned and required. Requirements - Who Are We Looking For? Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. Four (4) or more years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Demonstrated experience as a business analyst, web analyst, or similar is preferred. Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and content management systems (SharePoint). Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. System modeling, data modeling, report writing tools, and SQL knowledge a plus. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple projects with time-sensitive deadlines. Must demonstrate a high degree of professional reliability and accountability.
