Duties
In this position, you will work with multiple development teams on multiple projects, simple to challenging, with small and simple to very large and complex SQL Server implementations. Teamwork, good work ethic, eagerness to learn new things, and an attention to detail is an absolute necessity. Overall primary job function will be database administration including troubleshooting production issues, performance tuning, provisioning, backup and recoveries, application deployment support, and other administration related tasks.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or 10 years related technical field experience.
Experience
• 10+ years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration.• 10+ years' development or DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS Solution.• Change and Release management, and SDLC knowledge and experience.• Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills.• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Work well autonomously and in a team environment.• SQL Server 2016 R2 or greater Administration, SQL Server Tuning, T-SQL tuning, SQL Server Development.• STRONG Azure SQL Management Experience (IAAS & PAAS).• SQL Clustering, Always on, and DR Configuration experience.• SQL Development Skills.• SSRS, SSAS, MDS, DQS, SSIS, installation and maintenance.• Azure Data Factory.• Azure SQL Synapse.• Azure Devops.• ITIL knowledge and/or Experience.
