We are a company that promotes from within, both in our retail and corporate operations.Under general supervision, the AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Developer with a focus on backend development is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions within the Adobe Experience Manager platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver digital experiences that ensure optimal performance, scalability, and usability of the AEM platform. The AEM Developer will leverage their in-depth knowledge of Java and AEM-specific technologies to create and manage web content management systems that meet business requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities :Collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to design and develop AEM components, templates, and workflows that meet project requirements Experience in end-to-end implementations of AEM 6.5 or later, AEM as a cloud service experience preferred.Collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to design and develop AEM components, templates, and workflows that meet project requirements.Customize and extend AEM functionality using technologies like Java, HTL (HTML Template Language), and JavaScript.Integrate AEM with various third-party systems and platforms using APIs and other integration methodsConfigure AEM settings, permissions, and workflows based on project needs and best practices.Assist in content migration and authoring, ensuring seamless transition and adherence to content guidelines and best practices.Optimize AEM performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, improving code efficiency, and implementing caching strategies.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end and back-end developers, to ensure a cohesive and efficient implementation of digital solutions.Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to team members and stakeholders.Document technical specifications, system architecture, and development processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.Conduct code reviews and participate in quality assurance activities to ensure code meets established standards and project requirements.Other duties as assigned.
