GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:Under the direction of the Executive Director, provides developer support for the College's Salesforce platform. This also involves technologies that integrate with Salesforce that are aligned with the vision, mission, and priorities of the College.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports multi-org Salesforce CRM environment, utilizing Education Data Architecture (EDA) and Sales Cloud technologies.

Responsible for the development of functionality, including business enhancements, user account maintenance, activity and events, workflows, data structures, integrations, and other routine tasks.

Provides technical evaluation and completion of new development requests and potential road map technical evaluations.

Supports the definition of complex application development, administration, and programming standards and the collaboration with the technical team to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits),

Responsible for assisting in overseeing release management in our Salesforce platform, ensuring the team is properly utilizing DevOps deployment tools and best practices.

Supports Salesforce CRM data feeds and other integrations and maintains all technological resources associated with end users.

Develop Apex (classes and triggers) Visualforce, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.

Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components,

Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Salesforce CRM development education or equivalent experience is required.

Salesforce Platform Developer certification is required.

Must have a strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, and other programming languages.

Understanding of DevOps Release Management. Experience with Copado preferred.

Understanding Delivery and Project Management frameworks, methodologies, and practices (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) preferred.

Must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines handle and prioritize requests with a positive attitude.

Must be a creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required; must be a good listener.

*This is a hybrid position that will require some time worked from the physical campus work location in Indianapolis, IN. In compliance with the College's Out of State Workers Policy, only candidates who will reside in and work from the states of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio will be considered for this position.
