Pricing Specialist-Savannah, GA
We are looking for a dynamic Pricing Specialist who wants to help us develop and drive a competitive global pricing strategy in line with Trade strategies and perform timely responses on Spot/Liner and project quote activity toward Customer Growth (CG).
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Ensuring prompt responses on all price quote activityProvide timely spot quotation details (rates, operational costs) for cargoes outside of set parameters to sales/sales support teams and agents in line with the pricing frameworkHandle Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) filing requests and ensure we are FMC compliant on trade lanesEngaged in optimizing our processes, systems, and toolsGather and work with data in existing or new dashboardsQualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Minimum 2-3 years' Sales or Trade experienceFamiliarity with the U.S. Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) and Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) Regulation of U.S. Ocean borne import/export cargoStrong analytical skills, enjoys working with numbers/dataFluent written and spoken EnglishEVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:
A collaborative approach, with a pro-active, growth mindsetIn-depth experience working with different cultures, ability to adjust communication, and build relationships in different regionsAn analytical, detail-oriented mindset and enjoys working with numbers/dataStrong computer literacy in Excel, and PowerPoint and familiar with Power BIABOUT YOU
