Job Summary

Manages and supports the assessment of organizational needs, to include design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of staff members. Consults with campus leaders to evaluate staff development needs, particularly as it relates to program facilitation for current and emerging leaders. Oversees acclimation programs such as New Employee Orientation and New Manager Onboarding, to include required training compliance.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Manages organizational development (OD) and training strategies and processes for staff.2. Assesses OD needs of administrative units within the institution.3. Leads the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet OD needs and program goals.4. Designs and executes key programmatic elements of the OD process.5. Evaluates strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals.6. Assists with the provision of expert facilitation and coaching to staff supervisors and managers regarding OD methods and tools.7. Manages the individual development planning process for current and emerging leaders.8. Provides consultative services to the business units regarding mentoring.9. Plans and leads short- and long-term planning for staff OD programs.10. Works with Executive Director of Leadership and Institutional Development on joint faculty and staff programming.11. Oversees the creation and facilitation of KSU Onboarding programs including New Employee Orientation and New Manager Onboarding.12. Oversees compliance structure for training to include monitoring of required course completion rates, approval of campus course offerings, and appropriateness of external trainings to facilitate application of USG policies.

Required Qualifications

Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in organizational development/organizational behavior, Human Resources or related field

Required ExperienceSix (6) years of experience working in organizational development in a large organization

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred QualificationsSHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certificationCoaching certificationAssessment Certification(s)

Preferred Educational QualificationsAdvanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education, preferably in a related field
