Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced
Cyber Security Architect
to design, implement, and maintain our organization's cyber security infrastructure. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices, with a proven track record of architecting secure solutions for complex systems. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our systems, data, and applications.Key Responsibilities:
Cyber Security Architecture : Design and implement comprehensive cyber security architectures that align with business objectives and adhere to industry standards.Risk Assessment : Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address potential security threats.Policy Development : Develop and maintain cyber security standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent security practices across the organization.Collaboration with Development Teams : Work with development teams to promote secure coding practices and integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Security Technology Implementation : Implement and manage security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption solutions.Security Testing : Conduct security testing and penetration testing to uncover vulnerabilities and ensure robustness.Incident Response & Disaster Recovery : Develop and maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans to ensure rapid and effective responses to security incidents.Continuous Improvement : Stay informed about emerging threats and technologies, recommending and implementing security improvements.Requirements:
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber security, with a strong focus on architecture and design.Technical Expertise :
Deep understanding of cyber security principles, threat modeling, and risk management.Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption solutions.Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Skills :
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across departments.
Certifications : Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.Nice to Have:
Cloud Security : Experience with cloud security and DevOps practices.AI/Client Security : Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning security concerns.Regulatory Compliance : Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA.Automation Tools : Experience with security orchestration and automation tools.
