Description

Summary/Objective

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst II is responsible for software quality testing during the lifecycle of new and improved software releases. The analyst is also responsible for testing, tracking, validating and monitoring software functionality and system performance to guarantee the end product meets the highest standards for all end users.

Key Responsibilities

Performs functional testing on DEV, UAT and PROD environments as deployments are releasedFocus on other internal system integration including but not limited to CXONE, HubSpot, credit card processing systems and SalesforceReviews and analyzes requirements specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and intended functionality of the software product.Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate integrated systems. Parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.Focuses on reusable product test cases for Quality Assurance TestingMakes use of diagnostic tools provided by the development team to understand and troubleshoot the productsConducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.When a product does not perform within specifications, report defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.Performs diagnosis of software issues while testing and supporting products in production environmentIdentifies, logs, and recreates errors while reporting bugs, and defects.Validates and communicates successful deployment of Software enhancements and product roll outCommunicates with internal SME's regarding integrated systems behavior and concernsCreates JIRA Tickets for activities and bugsSupports Product Support Personnel in workable processes, changes and advancementOther duties as assignedRequirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred)2 - 4 years of Quality Assurance or Product Troubleshooting2 - 4 years of Travel Industry experienceWorking knowledge of quality system requirementsProven success in creating effective application testing plansExtensive knowledge of software and database testing including designing and manipulating test data, and errorAbility to create test plans and user test cases form specifications or verbal communicationsAbility to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers and customer supportStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwarePhysical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)About ONE
