POSITION OVERVIEW :

Responsible for inspecting in-process and finished parts to ensure customer requirements are met.

Interpret process and work instructions to determine sample quantities and features to be inspected for a high volume of parts.

Use micrometers, calipers and other gages as required to complete planned inspections.

Requires frequent walking through plant floor in addition to stationary desk work, due to administrative purposes with shipping and receiving.

REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or GEDAt least

2

years previous inspection experience (manufacturing/industrial setting)

prior experience performing

dimensional inspections preferred

Proficient use of basic gages (micrometers, calipers)Proficient in current computer softwareMust be able to lift parts and other items from floor to waist on a frequent basis, standing for consecutive hours without restMust be able to read and understand blueprints

Work Schedule7:00 Am - 3:00PM Monday-Friday or a Mid shift 11 Am-7 Pm
