Quality Engineer

Job Overview:

Well established OEM client with strong stability and growth looking for a hands-on quality engineer with proven success working in quality in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming, first piece, in-process, and final inspection of precision machined parts per inspection plan requirements ensuring parts are produced to specification.
• Daily hands-on, shop floor in-process inspection, performing the production-related requirements of the quality department.
• Complete necessary inspections utilizing measuring instruments
• Oversee the company’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and compliance. Work closely with the company’s Quality Management Representative to conduct internal audits, procedural conformance, and documentation. Familiarity with 13485 preferred
• Prepare and maintain necessary quality-related forms and records, including Inspection Reports, Defective Material Reports, and Corrective Action Reports.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ideally Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial or experience. Must be a US Citizen or Green card, no sponsorship.
